		<description><![CDATA[George Washington was a great American hero. He was a man of very profound character and work ethic. He kept going even when the odds seemed insurmountable in the Revolutionary War. He was reluctant to be the first president of the United States. He didn&#8217;t want to become the same thing that we were trying to escape in a dictatorship or even give that impression to others. It is too bad we do not have more legislators and senators step down only after a couple of terms.
